The RACONTEUR

The RACONTEUR

$10.00

The Raconteur… the storyteller, the narrator, the chronicler, the observer.

The Raconteur is for people who need to tell something. Whether it's on the page, on the screen, or anywhere a story has to hold it's for anyone who's already making the work or still circling the edge of it.

It’s for the moment when you know you’re a storyteller, but you don’t trust your instincts enough to let them lead, so instead you overthink or second-guess what should be obvious. You think the problem is lack talent or ideas but really, it’s knowing what to follow or cut, and when to stop interfering with the thing that already works.

The Raconteur is about behavior:
how you find your voice
how you enter material
how you recognize what’s worth keeping
how you shape without overcorrecting
how to stop before clarity turns into control.

It’s about how storytellers see and listen, choose what matters, and build from the inside out... regardless of medium.

If you write, film, photograph, build visual essays, make content, or work across mediums, this applies. The questions underneath are the same regardless of form. What changes is whether you’ve learned to trust your instincts... and when not to.

The Raconteur is a 250+ page digital guide designed to help you identify your voice, to understand how it works and then use it deliberately — across writing, film, visual work, or anything built from attention and choice.

——————

The question I'm asked the most is 'how can I write/create like you?' But what should be asked is, 'how do I write/create more like myself?'

And if you’re here, you’re likely someone who:
rewrites conversations in your head on the way home
hoards half-sentences in your notes app
watches a film and thinks, I know exactly why that line worked
knows you're a storyteller but hasn't figured out how to get what's inside onto a page or a screen

Every storyteller starts with that feeling… that quiet, insistent feeling that something wants to be said.

WHO IT’S FOR

This is for you if:

You write (or want to), but your work still feels a little… bloodless

You make or want to make video essays/visual pieces/film, but your images and words never quite meet

You’re tired of “10 storytelling tips” and want to understand what’s really happening under the hood when something hits you in the gut

You’ve been told “you’re such a good storyteller” but have no idea how to turn that into actual work

You care more about making something true than making something “marketable”

WHY I MADE THIS

For more nearly two decades I’ve worked across film, television, and visual storytelling, shaping narratives on both sides of the camera. I also built my youtube following to over 145K in a year and a half. I learned early that technique alone doesn’t save a story. Seeing does. Listening does. Knowing what to keep and what to cut does.

That’s the work we do here.

Because I was tired of watching good writers sound like everyone else, and smart people talk themselves out of being storytellers.

Because “story” got turned into a marketing word, and I wanted a place where it could go back to being what it actually is: a way of saying the truth, cleanly, in a form someone else can hold.

You don’t need to be good; you just need to be willing. I can’t give you a voice, you already have one. But what I can give you is a way to use it. And if that’s what you’ve been circling, you’re exactly who The Raconteur is for.
